In the event the bag was not collected check for an orange sticker that will explain why it was left. It may be necessary to split the contents of the bag into two bags to reduce the weight. NOTICE TO COPLEY TOWNSHIP RESIDENTS
In October 2015, the Copley Township Board of Trustees awarded a five-year single hauler bid to REPUBLIC SERVICES for residential trash and recycling services. The service takes effect January 1, 2016. This program reduces the cost of trash and recycling collection for our residents, reduces the amount of truck traffic on our road system, and makes annual trash and recycling reporting to county authorities easier.
Copley Township is one of the last communities in Summit County to enter into such a contract where they have been used successfully by those communities for several years.
Exemptions: Condominium and apartment associations.
Please contact Republic Services at 1-800-247-3644 to sign up for service. Your current hauler will collect their containers.
