ANNOUNCEMENTS

New Requirements for Septic Systems in Ohio

Summit County Public Health (SCPH) has issued a notice that the septic code for the State of Ohio has changed.  Anyone in the state that has a septic system is now required to fall under a routine maintenance program and required to have an Operational Permit.

There will be a public meeting on March 25 at 5:30 pm at the SCPH main office at 1867 W Market St, Akron.  This location is by the Acme #1 store and is a little hard to find.  It is the intersection between Bryden Drive and the RR tracks.  SCPH website is www.scphoh.org and on the main page is a yellow box with links for more information.
