Copley Township Press Releases
SEPTEMBER 9, 2008
***FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE***
The Copley Township Board of Trustees approved a Senior Snow Plow Program for the 2008-2009 winter season. This program is open to year-long residents of Copley who are over the age of 65, have no other persons living in the home who can remove the snow or are physically disabled.
The first 125 residents who are eligible and submit an application will have the snow removed from their driveways from November 1, through April 1, 2009 at no charge. The Township will use qualified contractors for this program. The contractors will be instructed to plow the snow when it reaches 4" or more upon direction from the Service Director, Mark Mitchell. Homes will only be plowed once in a 24-hour period.
Applications are now being accepted at the Township Service Department and can be obtained on the website at: www.copley.oh.us. The application can also be picked up at Town Hall or mailed to your home.
