VOTE EARLY, VOTE ABSENTEE

Summit County Board of Elections will continue to hold early voting at the Job Center,
1040 E. Tallmadge Ave., Akron. Registered voters may cast an early ballot now
through November 3, 2008. “Avoid long lines- Vote Early!” Early voting at the Job
Center will be open Monday-Friday 8am-8pm; Saturday and Sunday 12pm-4pm.

Registered voters may also request an absentee ballot by mail. Applications for an
absentee ballot can be downloaded at www.summitcountyboe.com or you can make a
request by mailing the following information on an 8 ½ x 11” sheet of paper to Summit
County Board of Elections, 470 Grant Street, Akron, Ohio, 44311:

  • Full name
  • Voting address
  • Away mailing address (or where you would like your ballot sent)
  • Date of Election you wish to vote
  • Voting Identification (one of the following):
  • Last four (4) digits of social security number)
  • Driver’s License Number
  • Ohio I.D. Number
  • Copy of a utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck,

or other government document that shows your current name and address.
