Akron-Summit County Public Library Bookmobile

The Akron-Summit County Public Library Bookmobile visits will be every Thursday starting June 15 and ending August 17.  Please see the Thursday Schedule below:

Scenic View Drive and Janwood Drive - 9:50 a.m. - 10:15 a.m.

Treetop Drive and Fernway Drive - 10:25 a.m. - 10:55 a.m.

Misty Lane and Ridge Crest Drive - 11:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Windsor Park Estates on Vale Drive - 12:00 p.m. - 12:45 p.m.

Fawn Meadow/Scarlet Oak 2:10 p.m. - 2:40 p.m.

Wallwood Drive and Grapevine Swing - 3:05 p.m. - 3:35 p.m.

Copley Township Trustees wouldl like to thank all the volunteers that came out on Saturday morning for the first "Sweep The Streets" in Copley Township.  There were many, many bags of trash collected and everyone enjoyed a hot dog lunch at noon thanks to the generosity of Shislers Cheese House who donated lunch for all the volunteers, and the businesses of Sawmill Run that contributed financial support, coupons and gifts for all the volunteers!  We would also like to thank the Copley CERT Team and Girl Scout Troop 411, along with all the residents that volunteered their time to this cause.  Thank You Copley Township...You are Awesome!!!!

 

CHASING THE DRAGON: The Life of an Opiate Addict

Copley Towship Officials & the HUB Community Center are sponsoring an Opioid Awareness discussion, May 3, 2017 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the HUB Community Center, 3676 Community Land, just off Cleveland-Massillon Road. 

Opioid addiction is becoming an epidemic in American.  Come join us on May 3rd for the film Chasing the Dragon: The Life of an Opiate Addict, produced by the FBI and DEA, followed by a panel discussion on opioid use and abuse.

The panel will be comprised of a high school student, a person with an addiction, parent of a recovering addict, police and fire personnel, a drug treatment professional, and a school administrator.
