Does your drinking water come from a well, cistern, spring, or hauled water storage tank?
Do you wonder if your water is safe to drink?
Kits are located at the Copley Town Hall, 1540 S Cleveland-Massillon Road between the hours of 8am - 4pm.
Start date is May 9 weather permitting and the completion date for the entire project is June 30. Please click the link below to view ODOT plans.
Beginning 6/9, the SB side of SR21 at Minor Road will be constructed with the NB side to follow another weekend. Work will start on 6/9 during the day within the normal zone times. Starting Friday at 6pm, a "permanent" zone on SB SR21 will be placed for the entire weekend until possibly 2pm Monday. In addition, during that same time frame of the "permanent zone", Minor Road on the west side of SR21 will be closed at SR21. No access to SR21 will be allowed from the west on Minor Road.
Because of the 4 individual locations of work this project will be split into two separate set of jobs. The first set will be the I77/NB to SR21SB ramp improvement work and the SR 21 median turnarounds and they’ll be done at the same time. Closure of the SR21 ramp will be for 14 days and the detour route will be I77 to Ghent Road. Once that project has been completed they will begin the SR21/ Minor Road acceleration/deceleration lane installations. Hard closures will be on Minor Road at SR21 but of course local traffic will have access to their homes up to that point. Advance warning signs will be placed at Medina Line Road and Cleveland-Massillon Road so anyone turning on those roads will know there’s no SR21 access. The northbound side will be closed first for 14 days and when that is totally done they will flip over to the southbound side for the same amount of time.

At the October 7, 2015 Trustees Meeting the Trustees approved entering into an exclusive 5-year trash collection contract with Republic Waste.
The reasons were to reduce the number of trucks on our roads, make trash and recycling volumes reporting simpler, and, most importantly, to reduce the cost of collection service to our residents. The prices in the table reflect the per/month fee for each type of service. The contract will start on January 1, 2016 and Republic will be sending out literature to all the residents with the details of how this contract will work.
Be sure to call Republic Services to complete your account set up at 1-800-247-3644.

If a resident is physically unable to take their trash to the curb, they will need to notify Copley Township who will notify Republic and they will receive Garage Service for the same rate as Curbside or Senior rate, whichever applies. Doctor's note and completed Disability Verification form are required documents.
Each resident will receive a 96 gallon trash cart and a 65 gallon recycle cart. Both are on large wheels for ease of movement. Trash is picked up weekly and recycling is picked up every two weeks. Please see the map below for pickup days.
Residents are allowed to use their existing trash containers for extra trash that will not fit into the 96 gallon but are encouraged to use the supplied cart. Republic is anticipating to automate the system in 2018 and the carts will be a necessity.
Residents who have another means of disposing of trash must submit a waiver for verification to Copley and Republic.
Weekly bulky items and yard waste pickup is included at no extra cost. These items must be set at the curb.
