Lilac Tree
This year in celebration of Arbor Day 2022, one of the trees that the Township will be giving away on Friday, 3-5 pm on April 29, is a Lilac Tree.
Lilacs have long been a beloved flower and source of inspiration for artists such as Vincent van Gogh and Claude Monet. Lilac Trees make wonderful additions to your home garden. The blooms will attract lovely hummingbirds and butterflies, and the plants themselves add a dose of beauty to any yard.
Along with planting a few much-needed shade trees at Copley Community Park, we will be offering a mulching project and fun activities. If you would like to volunteer for this day, please let us know. April 30, Saturday 11 am to 2 pm.
