Preserving Our Past, Securing Our Future

The Comprehensive Land Use Plan is a guide for future development in the Township. The document begins with current conditions within the Township as to land use, zoning, population and environmental conditions and includes the desires of the residents and stakeholders regarding future growth.

Residents and stakeholders of Copley Township have indicated through a series of public outreach initiatives, that they value residential land, public and green space, preservation and managed, responsible growth in Commercial and Industrial areas.

On October 27, 2025, the Copley Township Board of Trustees adopted an update to the Comprehensive Land Use Plan. The plan is effective January 1, 2026-December 31, 2036.

COPIES OF THE LAND USE PLAN

Physical copies of the Land Use Document are available at Town Hall for a fee. The first (20) pages are free and then .05 cents thereafter. Additionally, the document can be downloaded from our website. The document is posted by individual chapters to make downloading easier.
